A COP27-Side Event

Green hydrogen can play an important role in the transition to a fossil-free, climate-, and environment-compatible future. If done correctly, an international green hydrogen economy can also contribute to overcome energy poverty and to a sustainable and just economic development of countries in the global south. Thus, specific and comprehensive sustainability criteria are vital. We’ll discuss with our guests proposals for such criteria developed by civil society actors from Europe and Africa.
