Who suffers Most from Extreme Weather Events? Weather-related Loss Events in 2019 and 2000 to 2019

The Global Climate Risk Index 2021 analyses to what extent countries and regions have been affected by impacts of weather-related loss events (storms, floods, heat waves etc.). The most recent data available — for 2019 and from 2000 to 2019 — were taken into account. The countries and territories affected most in 2019 were Mozambique, Zimbabwe as well as the Bahamas. For the period from 2000 to 2019 Puerto Rico, Myanmar and Haiti rank highest.

La empresa avícola PHW la más contaminada con casi el 60% de las muestras de carne contaminada / Estudio encargado por Germanwatch y especialistas en medicina humana analiza 165 muestras de carne de pollo de las tres empresas más grandes de la UE, compradas entre otros a Lidl y Aldi en Alemania, Francia, Polonia, los Países Bajos y España.

Más de una de cada dos muestras de carne de pollo (51%) de las tres mayores empresas avícolas de Europa está contaminada con resistencia a uno o incluso varios antibióticos. En promedio, más de uno de cada tres pollos (35%) introduce en la cadena alimentaria patógenos resistentes a los antibióticos de resistencia. Estos son los alarmantes resultados de un estudio publicado el 27 de octubre. El estudio ha analizado 165 muestras de carne de pollo en Alemania, Francia, Polonia, los Países Bajos y España provenientes de estas tres empresas.

For the period from 1998 to 2017 Puerto Rico, Honduras and Myanmar rank highest.
