To familiarise yourself with and support the development and environmental policy work of Germanwatch, you have the opportunity to do an internship or work as a student assistant in one of our two offices. Some of the work can also be done remotely from home. Due to the high demand, we are unfortunately unable to consider unsolicited applications. Please only apply in response to an existing advert.
Internship:
- In principle, an internship at Germanwatch is possible in all teams. We offer internships with a duration of 2-3 months for enrolled students. The internship remuneration is 400 euros per full month for 40 hours per week.
- Applicants should preferably have successfully completed four semesters of study.
- In your application, please also tell us which of the following criteria you fulfil:
- Compulsory internship: The internship is compulsory on the basis of a school law provision, a training regulation, a university law provision or as part of training at a legally regulated vocational academy (limited to the time specified in the respective provision).
- Voluntary internship during studies: The internship accompanies a vocational or higher education programme if no such internship with us previously existed (certificate of study required).
Student assistant:
- People who are enrolled as regular students can work for us as student assistants.
If you have completed your (Master's) degree, it is no longer possible to apply as a student assistant. - Remuneration is based on TVÖD Bund, pay group 2 (for Bachelor students) or pay group 3 (for Bachelor graduates).
- With a 5-day week, the holiday entitlement is 30 days per calendar year.
