The Adaptation Committee is the UNFCCC´s key adaptation body aiming to increase the coherence and promote coordination on matters related to adaptation. At its third meeting (18 to 20 June, 2013) the AC has to deal with a number of agenda items. This compilation of survey results shows how much companies involved in the EU emissions trading system (EU ETS) expect the EU to reform the ailing carbon market – by implementing the backloading proposal of the European Commission as a first step. This paper is based on the inputs given by different civil society actors during the workshop “Energy transition in a changing Arab World?
